PNC Arena Volunteering

Volunteer with other HSHS band parents at PNC Arena. We have a Dippin' Dots cart in a prime location, and anyone working the cart is guaranteed $45 per shift, plus tips.

It is like a “band savings account”, where tax-free pay is deposited directly into  your student account and used for future band expenses.

You will usually make a minimum of $150 and as much as $800 depending on your level of involvement.

As a bonus, some may be eligible to defer the last marching fair share payment  of $100 for 60 days if you are on the schedule to work at least 3 days during  those 60 days.

The money already earned in your account can help cover fair share costs for  GHR, winter programs (Winter Guard and Indoor Percussion), trips, extra uniform accessories, spirit wear for students and family, music fees  for classroom, All-District and Tri-M fees, banquet tickets and more!

Please remember anyone 16+ can work the booth (those 16-18 need an adult present), and you can have multiple members of your household work the same shift, to earn even more money. Please contact Christian at hshs_pnc@yahoo.com if you have any questions.

Earn money towards your fair share at Walnut Creek!

Our friends at Carolina Visual Productions (CVP), are once again giving families an opportunity to earn money towards their fair share by volunteering for concerts at Walnut Creek.  This is open to all HSHS band families, but volunteers must be 18 or older, because alcohol is sold at the booth.  Concerts start this weekend, and will go into the fall. Please contact Christian if you are interested at hshs_pnc@yahoo.com for more details.
