We use a few ways to communicate with our members and we suggest that you keep up with these two 🙂

Google Groups

Make sure you sign up for our Google Group to keep up with all the ‘happenings’ around the band program. This is really our primary method of communication.

Remind

The band has been using Remind to communicate with all members for about a year now and it’s been working pretty well, so we’re keeping it. If you are a new member then here’s the information about Remind.

Remind is free to use and it delivers messages straight to your text messenger (or email – should you prefer). We could text you accurate and up-to-the-minute arrival times after performances/MPAs/end of practices. We could remind you of important dates, meetings, and events. All as text messages 🙂

There is NO exchange of personal information: Remind messages are not sent from personal cell phone numbers. Parents/students will not see the teacher’s personal number and the teacher will not see the parent/student’s personal information. Remind is already in use by numerous teachers (you might already receive some) and it has worked very well.
